Today, I ventured up into the attic. I was looking for my fall stuff to decorate my home.
It must be buried deeply under the Christmas stuff, because I could not find it.
But, I found our wedding pictures!
And, my Bible!
They were in a box of books, as I suspected. Although these were never intended for the attic.
This is the last picture in our wedding album. That telephone pole that appears to be coming out of my head is visible to me presently as I sit on the loveseat and look out my living room window. THGGM is visible to me also. He is sleeping on the couch, with his head bobbing up and down. Except for having a beard now, he doesn't look much different. I would not recognize myself if I met me on the street!

Ah, the joy of attics - or basements, hell, even a closet you haven't looked in in a while. While you almost never find what you are specifically looking for, you never fail to find something interesting. Great Picture!
Yay! It seems like we should throw a party for the prodigal wedding album!
When we moved into our last house, I lost my Bible and didn't find it again until we moved out 4 years later.
Cute photos and glad you found them!! Well, dearie, no one would know me now either if all they had seen was me at age 20 when we married. Sigh...one of the hard places of life I guess...oh well, if we are still married and doing ok and have grandchildren, what more could one need?
