Look what someone sent to me! The mail arrived, and there was a package addressed to me!
I knew I hadn't ordered anything, because I keep close tabs on that sort of thing.
I rushed passed my mom and Baby Boy who were mutually admiring each other, and tore it open at the dining room table.
It's a Susan Branch "Girlfriends Forever" book!
But, it doesn't say who it is from.
So, thank you thank you thank you mystery 'girlfriend'! You will never know just how much I needed that today!

What a lovely treat. It's amazing what little things like that can do to lift your spirits.
I have a wonderful chat/email friend in Perth, West Australia, who sends little gifts to me now and then. I send them to her, too. A couple of young ladies in the UK who I befriended on an international pen pal site when I first got my computer and think of me as their "honorary aunty" also send little packages every now and then as well. There's something about getting an unexpected package that warms the heart, isn't there?! What is this book about?? I've never heard of it before.
You will love this book. Susan Branch is one ofmy favorites. (I came here via Debra over at Debra's other thoughts.) LOVE the photo of great grama with the little guy.
