Baby Boy and I have this game we love to play.
We put blocks and things on this pop-up toy and send them sailing into the air.
I love how the pop-up critters look like game show contestants in the picture on the left.
Anyway, one day a few weeks back while playing this game, Baby Boy and I had 'a moment'. One of those moments where we both knew that

something funny had just happened.
Notice in the picture on the right how Baby Boy has his eyes all squinshed shut. Notice how the red block is flying through the air...
Our moment happened when one of the blocks was catapulted into the air, and landed right on Baby Boy's foot, like a shoe. Our eyes met for a moment - and then I started laughing and he started to giggle. It was just SO sweet! He KNEW that wasn't what was supposed to happen.
It landed on his foot the next three times. Each time, funnier than the time before. It hasn't happened since, but we both sit in earnest concentration trying to get it too happen again!
Sometimes we send Bob the Builder flying through the air.
I seemed to have missed my calling. Catapulting things into space is a new passion of mine.
Also, it took me over twenty years to realize that it is much more fun to play 'catch' with a square plastic block. They tend not to roll away, which is especially helpful when the pitcher doesn't have the greatest aim.
Baby Boy seems to be a south-paw.
