The tree from Germany was another of my favorites. 
I'm sure this has a lot to do with the army of Nutcrackers belonging to Oldest Son that I have protecting my home.
If I still have them next year, I think I might line them up on the mantle again.

Wow the Victorian room is absolutely stunning. I will have to visit my sister sometime and have her take me their - perhaps we could meet.
The German tree is fun - I have an entire squad of nutcrackers as I love nutcrackers my in-laws used to buy me dozens of them. I used to stick them all out - but now they wait in storage for the girls to get bigger...then I will probably prune the collection judiciously.
