In Adam's Fall We Sinned All

Last night the big Christmas tree came down.
In it's place, THGGM placed the rocker I received as a high school graduation present from my parents.
Baby Boy can now be properly rocked in an attempt to quell his teething pain.

Yesterday, I gained a deeper understanding of the fall of man.
The tree had been there since Thanksgiving, causing no temptation at all to Baby Boy.
Suddenly, it became the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The only thing in the room he could not touch.
He wanted to eat of it's fruit, and even offer me a bite.
Removing the tree seemed more reasonable than banishing him from the living room.
And there the analogy breaks down, as all analogies do.
