It has been a long time since I have been to a play. All three of my children participated in them with much enthusiasm in school, at church and in community children's programs. Both of my sons also were in college productions. I miss plays.
I've been looking for one that I've read about, "The Angel That Troubled the Water" by Thornton Wilder. But, I cannot find it. (At least not the 'old fashioned' way, at thrift stores or in the public domain.)
The upside to my not being able to find it, is that I have found many other of his plays and I am very much enjoying those.
One of them I have added to my lists of Christmas 'must reads'. It is "The Long Christmas Dinner"
The stage is set with a long table and chairs. There is an entrance and an exit. The only other props are white wigs, added to show the passage of time.
I loved it.
Try to find a copy. I think you will love it also.
