I simply LOVE this!
I received this from Oldest Son and Daughter-in-law for Christmas.
They bought it for me while they were vacationing in Aruba this summer.
I find it satisfying on so many levels!
It's Delft.
It's Dutch.
It screams 'dollhouse'.
I'm delighted by the thought that while vacationing in Aruba, they thought of me!

I LOVE these! Are you full-Dutch in your ancestry? I'm actually more French than Swedish but I look and ACT so Swedish I claim that instead, hahaha! If you knew my maiden name, you'd understand why. Hardly anyone can pronounce it on their first try.
PS...I know what you mean about them thinking about you. My d-i-l buys me State or city magnets for my refrigerator if she can spot them when she's on business trips. It's not the cost, it's the thought that counts for sure. Hey, Grandmahood is the best...but being a Mom rates right up there, too, eh? :-D Now, I'd better quit reading here this morning or I'm NEVER going to get my shower taken before the Little Man gets here!!!!
