Febrrrrrrruary

Today I just cannot get warm.
That isn't like me.
Our furnace IS giving us trouble, but that isn't it. It's humming along nicely at the moment.
I got rid of almost all my sweaters because I cannot stand to be hot.
So I'm dressed as warmly as I can and am covered in my favorite quilt. I've had enough coffee to keep my heart pumping a full three days after I'm dead.
I'm so cold I can't even THINK of venturing into the basement (we have to go out into the breeze-way to access the basement) to find matching socks.
The sun IS shining and it isn't all that cold out.
But don't feel sorry for me! I've got my stack of Somerset Life to look through, and reruns of Leave It to Beaver and Frasier to watch.
Hoping lots of vitamin C and a good nap ward off the nasty bug my grandchildren have.

Your post labels are so amusing.

What better month to whine than February? It's above freezing, the sun in shining, and it still feels cold.

I hope you aren't coming down with anything. I had a cold 3 weeks ago. It went away and last week...I came down with the flu. Stay warm, drink your liquids, plenty of vitamin C and get your rest. Good luck. I'll be thinking of you!!

Good luck to you. I seem to be enduring a spate of bugliness these days. The doctor says that once children get out into the world, the bring everything home for a year, and I think I've been out of circulation to some extent for long enough that I am getting everything too.
