The pin keeper I bought because I fell in love with the picture on it. I had my eye on it for over a year as I felt that it's price of $5.00 was a bit high.
When the antique mall it was in closed, I got it for a much better price. Such a simple thing - it has advertising on the back - but I LOVE the picture.
The pin cushion doll was given to me by my grandma. Of course, being a teenage girl at the time, I thought it was clothed in hideous fabric, so I stitched her into a yellow flannel with pink rose buds. She stayed that way until one day I saw her identical twin sister for an outrageously wonderful price at an antique store. When I got back home, I immediately removed her yellow pajamas to reveal the old old green fabric with the blue birds.
