My first one was this Spode plate. It's my ONLY piece of Spode. When I bought it there were no visible cracks. I used it to hold a tea bag, and suddenly the cracks appeared. Adds to the charm, I tell myself.
After I put away my Holly Hobbie skaters figurine, I wanted something else to put under the dome.
The butter pat plates work great!
