Thursday. Again.

Does it seem to anyone else that it is ALWAYS Thursday?

Anyway.., I DO like Thursday. It isn't a complaint. But it does seem like it is Thursday an awful lot lately.

I spent most of today in my basement.

So much to sort through. Lots of wondering about why I put things I don't know what to do with into boxes. It's trash day tomorrow so it was a good day for pitching things.

I'm starting to get excited about having all of my various and sundry boxes purged and merged. Can't wait to introduce like things to each other.

I've got a wall cleared for shelving which should help me regain some floor space. There is plenty of room down there for me to keep everything, I'm just not sure that I need to keep it all.

It's beyond time for me to refine my interests. One of the things that has held me up for the past several years is the trouble that I have with my hands. Numbness, pain, tingling. So if I vary what I'm doing the trouble isn't as pronounced. Does that make sense?

So, don't tell THGGM this, but I've moved most of my hand-sewing stuff upstairs. My machine will remain in the basement. I should be able to have a nice well-lit sewing area on both floors.

My paper, stamps, paints and glue will have their own place - floating between a nice work room (our garage is heated. thggm can work out there.) and a nice piece of counter top.

I'm beginning to feel hopeful about it.

And, in my six drawer dresser filled with flash cards, game pieces and what-not - I found my Monopoly pieces!

Oh, my little iron. Love it.

(i taped a 'hoarders' marathon. it should be called 'horrors'. that show freaks me out, and sends me to my boxes in the basement. to purge and merge.)
