August, it feels like I barely knew you. You warmed my heart and dried out my garden. I bid you a fond farewell and welcome the changing of seasons with your cousin September.
May these days hold a sweater or two for you!
My neighbors are vacationing in the east. At the moment they're visiting family who live along Lake Ontario. Saw Niagara Falls yesterday. Said it was 90 degrees and a sweat box! It's barely 60 here and raining. Actually, I think we out here in the PNW are luckier!
