Second Stop

The Nature Center! I absolutely LOVE this place. Especially the slide show, which with three young children and two other family members who are not fans of it, we did not go. I'm still holding back the tears.

But, there were wild turkeys to observe, and many BEAUTIFUL birds which do not show. And black squirrels. I love those too.

Kado thought the trillium rug was a stage for him to dance upon.

Jonge enjoyed all of the animal habitat dioramas, although they were up rather high.

Famke joined in the dancing fun too.


We even got the chance to see a snake being fed his daily meal.

I couldn't watch. Seeing the pink baby mouse being taken from a bag in the freezer was enough for me. I don't like snakes OR mice, but still.

One stop to the nature center store yielded up a bird house we can attach to the kitchen window with a suction cup. THGGM is a kind hearted man.

And we are off! To the third stop and beyond!
