I've Got Plenty to Be Thankful For

Yes. I am blessed, and I know it, which would seem to mean that I am doubly blessed.
But you know what?
I'm really not all that bright.
Seriously.
After the flowers fell off my orchid, I continued to water it faithfully. Two ice cubes, every Friday.
Then, the thick succulent leaves all fell off at once.
That should have been my clue.
But, NO.
You are forgetting that I do not have a clue. Not about plants anyway.
So I've still been dropping two ice cubes in the planter every Friday.
Then today, while looking for interesting containers to drop small Christmas trees into, I looked closer at the plant.
It still had some grassy looking stuff that was green and VERY healthy looking.
But I wanted that pretty green planter for my tree.
As I lifted out the plastic liner the grassy looking stuff popped out.
It was PLASTIC.
For months now I have been faithfully watering a sprig of plastic grass.
I'm not sure whether I need to have my eyes checked or my head examined.
Well I might as well be off to feed my 'big doll' some plastic fruit. After all, she does have a high chair.

Hey Judy...
I think I am part of that club too! Wow...the routines we have. LOL
Take care.
I enjoy your blog.
I wish I could express myself like you do.
Take care,
Nancy...Mommy 2

Hey, that's better than letting all your plants die of dehydration!
Plastic dolls require plastic fruit. The other kind just isn't as good for their digestion. (you've got me laughing, thinking about the concoctions we came up with for Baby Alive after we ran out of the packets of goo.) Oh. my. What fun.

LOLOL!
Sounds like something I'd do--when I go outta town for the holidays, would you babysit my plants, please? :)
So nice to meet you!
