Can't begin to think of why, but I'm not one to carry my camera around with me all the time. Surprising, isn't it?
Today I wished that I were that kind of person.
Not that my 'point and shoot' could do justice to what I saw.
What might that have been, you ask?
(oh. you didn't ask. i'll pause here a moment so you can.)
The whispy clouds in the sky to the west.
They positively looked like an artists rendering of angels.
One very large angel with two perfectly placed feathery wings blowing on a long trumpet towards another grouping of perfectly winged angels.
It was truly a gorgeous sight.
Then, as if that weren't enough sky-beauty for one day, did you happen to catch the nearly full moon tonight?
Ahhh. So dramatic in the very early evening with a halo surrounding it.
I'm thankful that I lifted up mine eyes today.

I think it is good not to carry a camera all the time. It forces us to be there more deeply than when we have a camera.
Tonight I was telling Tim I wasn't the only one who save stuff (he was asking if I had lots of skippy jars because he wanted to use them). I explained to him that you keep all your read Skippy jar lids and then I said "But perhaps that isn't a good argument."
Birds of a feather an all that. :)
