Recycled

<- This is something I put together today.
The base is a vase I found at the thrift store, thought about for a week and then went back to get it.
During that week I felted a sweater that had been my dad's. It does have a better side - but you get the idea (please say yes).
Then, I went through my house picking up sticks. Yes. It's true. I have fallen branches from my magnolia tree all over my house. They are just SO handy.
There was even a bottle of ivory colored paint in my 'assorted paints' box. I'm sure spray painting would have been quicker and easier but it was glossy. For this I wanted flat.
I don't think it's finished, yet. There ARE more branches, paint, and room. That might eliminate the need for the red berries - but maybe not.
Anyway.., it cost $1.50 and a bit of time from my afternoon.
Wondering what I've got planned for the other sweater sleeve?
A nice woolly hat for my doll head!
Maybe.
I like having options.

I love that! Really pretty. You are lucky the vase was still there, I do that and it is always gone!
