I had a totally different post in my head. But then I saw a few pictures from our tea party for the babies on Friday.
This is a cup and saucer from MY set.
I LOVE it. Six cups and saucers - two of a kind - so they can be all mixy-matchy.
To me, they are very pretty. I could just sit and look at them all day.
I could. Yet, I never will. Because that would just be weird.
The baby I brought was Jack. Jack is actually my favorite of all the dolls. I bought him before I was a grandmother just because I liked the look on his face.

Famke chose to bring Sister Elizabeth. My Jack just sat there the entire time, nodding and agreeing with everything I said. Sister Elizabeth was a bit more of a handful. She required MUCH cooing over. Famke called her 'sweetie' a lot. I thought that was really sweet.
This is Famke's new tea set. Her's has a lot of pieces including an adorable tea pot. It all stores nicely in a cute case. I would be remiss were I not to admit to being a bit jealous over her tea set. I want it.
The only manners we insist upon at our tea parties is that we treat our guests in such a that they know we want them here.
I'm happy to report that our guests knew.

How sweet! :0)
Takes me back to when I was enthralled with my tea sets.
Love the tea cups! Jack is adorable.
I love tea sets. How lovely that you and Famke have tea parties. We all need to have tea parties.
Jack has an adorable hat.
I hope that Jack didn't have a sweaty head with that hat on, I worry about those sorts of thing.
SWEET! I LOVE that little boy Jack too!
