February Favorites

While waiting for the impending blizzard, I was looking back through my blog.

Last February, in an effort to beat back the winter blues I posted pictures of my favorite things throughout the month.

Since I have so many favorite things, and this year have the winter DEEP BLUE blues, I'll do it again this year.

Sadly they won't be the best quality as February is particularly cloudy in these parts. But, I do my best.

So, back to the picture. These are my Hat Head Ladies! They are Styrofoam wig holders that I 'improved' by sticking little bits of masking tape all over. Then, I rubbed them with shoe polish. They have collars. Somewhere. I cannot find those. But, seeing them all bare-necked makes me want to run to my leaning tower of felted sweaters to look for an appropriate sleeve to use as a cowl.

Hmm.

I like the hats, too. They belonged to THGGM's grandmother. This isn't a large collection. I have a mink hat and another sort of fur that I found thrift shopping, but they are in the dress-up drawer.

Currently, the Hat Head Ladies are on the shelf over my pink toilet.

I still think 'over my pink toilet' is just such a catchy phrase.

But I'm weird and boring like that.
