February Favorites

This is a Roseville mug. I love everything about it.

THGGM found it at an antique mall many long years ago. The price was fantastic, and as is his way THGGM mentioned this to the cashier, who was absolutely flabbergasted that she hadn't found it before him (this happens to him a lot).

Apparently, this mug has been repaired. But, as far as repairs go, it appears to have been done by a master.

The cashier was able to point it out to THGGM using a magnifying glass.

I still can't see it.

Anyway.., I have a theory about my things. I like them to show ware from faithful service. Obviously, this mug has done that. Someone actually used it, damaged it, and found it worthy of repairing. That quite possibly sums up all of my favorite things.

And all my favorite people too.
