My most favorite thing in this picture would have to be the doll head.
Everybody else seems to think it is creepy and weird, but I love Love LOVE this!
And, everything else in this picture is also a favorite of mine.
The vase? I changed it out today from my dad's old red wool sweater sleeve to a cashmere arm from one of THGGM's.
The white twigs? Drops from our magnolia tree, painted white.
The white bird? There are two hanging from the branches. Many years ago they were deeply discounted at Target after Christmas. They've been hanging somewhere in my home ever since then.
The doilies? I've already told you about those!
The plaque with the verse? Ahhh. Although I have a few, I would always welcome more.
The baby bonnet? THGGM wore this, I've been told.
The glass pieces? This is from my 'make your own cloche' project. A vase, a short candle holder, and a door knob! I loooove it. But, it IS why there is a 'no balls in the house' rule over here. No one abides by it, but still.

I think a head under glass is just a little bit creepy.
I usually love your ideas. Are you 'serious' about the doll head or just kidding? A head not attached to anything is not a natural occurance, ditto on other unattached body parts. It is your home though, and if you enjoy it, and it makes you happy, then by all means....that is most important.
