I found this idea at www.todolwen.blogspot.com . It is a new craft blog, and she has generously shared a tutorial for making these flowers.
There is just something about craft bloggers - they all seem to be sooo very generous with sharing what they do. That is admirable.
Because that is just what I do.
Although I do have ModPodge, I skipped that process. And, instead of using just the book page, I used some pink scrapbook paper which was already out. I also only have one flower punch, so I just floofed the book flowers a teensy bit.
My salt shaker is full of little glass balls. I thought white buttons would look nice but I was already too exhausted from running up and down steps doing laundry to run up and down again to get them. Oh. And my pins were short so I jammed a chunk of Styrofoam into the lid before I screwed it on so that the flowers won't fall all the way in.

They look very, very sweet.
So cute! You have the best ideas.
I haven't read your blog in quite some time. I'm so glad I kept it bookmarked. Very cute flowers and your grandchildren have grown so much. They are beautiful! Also, my daughter shares your love of tiny things. We used to go garage sale shopping just for tiny toys. Ahh... memories of days gone by.
