Lilacs

My sister and her grandson came to play with us today. And look - she brought me lilacs from her yard!

I LOVE lilacs. They are so beautiful, aren't they? And the smell in here is just amazing.

We grew up with lilacs lining our driveway. The flowers are so pretty and I have always been enchanted by the leaves.

I think that Heaven must smell like lilacs.

Gorgeous! I rarely see white lilacs, usually they are the purpley ones. The white ones are especially lovely.
Great photos..that last one would be fabulous framed.

The majority of all our lilacs are gone. I'm quite excited that the two lilacs I planted last year are thriving right now!!! I agree with your heaven filled smell, and I would add that no one will be allergic! How sad it must be to be allergic to lilacs (or any flower for that matter).

I would love the smell of them if I wasn't so allergic to them.
