Lilies of the Valley

The little glass bottle with a cute stopper was .25 cents at a thrift store yesterday. The Lilies of the Valley came from my yard today. They smell AMAZING. We keep moving the flowers around with us wherever we happen to be. Ah spring, so very lovely.

The flower always reminds me of the old hymn, The Lily of the Valley.
"He's the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star, he's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul..."
It makes the flower even smell more beautiful to me!

I too love the scent! Mine are just popping up in my garden, no flowers yet...but I'll be filling all my little vases with them, when they do bloom! I look forward to the wonderful smell every springtime! Enjoy!
