We went to Saugatuck. Nice little town to visit. Cute shops, galleries, parks, and boats with fun names.
My favorite shop had this beautiful work of art - formerly an Art Prize piece - for sale. I told THGGM that I wanted it, but he would not buy it for me. Apparently, he did not see it as worth $15,000. Anyway, it was beautiful and I am sure someone with that kind of money will snatch it up soon.
There were rhododendrons in the park.
After a morning spent wandering the town, we drove further out to an antique mall. I really like this one. We wandered around for hours, although it did not seem long at all. One of the things I found was the lovely Dutch couple.
This one goes on and on. It has a wide range of goods and prices. I think I shopped for about an hour without even seeing THGGM.
From there we drove into Holland on our way to Grand Haven. But, we found so much to look at in Holland that we saved Grand Haven for a different day.
www.simplythrift.blogspot.com has a few of my more recent finds.
