Babies On My Mind

Today is the very last day that Kado will be a 'one year old'.

Any day now, someone new will be coming along to take his place as 'the baby'.

I am SOOOO excited!

The little aqua/blue house was a one dollar thrift store find last week.

Today I wandered through the house picking up things that just might work in the tiny cubbies.
The back ground papers are some scrapbook paper I found on clearance last week. I'm thinking that I might switch it all out to polka dots.

Can't say that I'm pleased with how it looks, yet, but that's half the fun! Hunting down things until I get it 'just so'.

I'm still figuring out the new camera. Lighting is EVERYTHING.

The really nice thing about my inability to glue stuff down is that I can keep it in a constant state of rotation from project to project.
At least that is how I'm choosing to look at it!

What's on your mind? Do tell!

I think it's so cool that the little people get to have their birthday shadow box, too. I think not gluing is way better.

I like it with the spool people - what about some acorn people?

I don't care about meeting in Lansing!!! I want to go thrifting with YOU where YOU live, lol! You have the best eagle-eye for great finds that I've ever seen, Judy. We need to have a day soon...I am just itching to go!
