All three grand kids and their parents have been sick.
Famke is the most recovered. She still has the residual cough. Mommy, who is due to deliver any time now, went to the doctor today. Hopefully the meds will do the trick and she will be healthy very soon!
They tell me it all started with a sore throat. I have a sore throat. I didn't want one.
In other news, a strong wind blew through here today. A large tree at the end of our street lost several large healthy-looking branches which took down some wires. This same scene is spread throughout the entire neighborhood.
Yet, the half dead tree in our back yard still stands. It did lose one large leaf-less limb, but that's all.

That's a sweet picture of Framke.
I was sick at the end of both my pregnancies. Coughing till my sides ached. Hope she feels better! And everyone else too.
I have a canker sore on the back of my throat - I've never had strep - so I wasn't sure and went into the doctor's office this morning...
