Famke was sooo excited to finally meet Feintsje.
When she heard that he was born, she cried for joy. She is already very emotionally attached to him. It is very sweet.
Jonge took his job as biggest brother very seriously.
They were all impressed with this new family member, although Kado was happy to just point and say 'bABy'. He had no interest in holding him, which at this point is a GOOD thing.
I'm trying to remember how I managed life with three children of my own this age. How did I shower? How did I think my own thoughts? Where is that vague smell of urine coming from?
I took quite a few pictures last night, but it will be sometime until I have a chance to post again.
Thanks for all of your kind words!

How very sweet!
Lisa :o)
These are "bonding" times. Take your time to enjoy them.
By the way, SOMEtime I'd love a pronunciation guide to those four names. (I've yet to figure out how to say any of them except Kado. I've probably got THAT one right.)
Ditto on the pronunciations.:-) Very very sweet! The kids are so cute!
Congratulations my dear friend
many blessings on you all.

Such sweet photos. I was the only girl and second born in our family of four kids. I cried the night my youngest brother was born (truth be told, I was hoping for a sister). He became, and still is, one of my best buds.
Yeah...
gorgeous kiddos. I love that she cried. how sweet.
Congrats on the new grand babe....I just knew you'd come up with another perfectly fitting name! Having emerged from this stage not long ago, the answer is
1.) Very brief shower, usually after everyone else is down in either late night or early morning.
2.) Thinking your own thoughts is a luxury, as is going to the loo in private. Survival mode takes over and in due time, multiple thoughts will eventually be able to be verbalized again. (after the youngest starts school!)
I used to get a real sense of accomplishment when I got the chance to shave my legs and my socks matched!! Perspective, it's all about perspective.
Your kids and their families are beyond blessed to have such wonderful grandparents close by.
Blessed be the ties that bind....
Instant love is completely understandable....and to be expected. :)
