Have you ever visited Frankfort? It is truly a gem on the Lake Michigan coast.
It has an extremely nice downtown, but after a few days of visiting an abundance of extremely nice downtowns, we decided to just walk through this one. Except for an antique store, which smelled exactly like an antique store should!
My favorite thing about Frankfort is it's garden. It was one May many many years ago where I first saw the bobbing ball buds of peony bushes. Right then I knew that I wanted to have peony bushes in my yard, and now I do!
Frank(fort)ly, I must admit that the garden in Frankfort is much better tended than mine.
I did not see ANY weeds in this garden. Not so in mine. Oh well. If I were a flower I'm rather sure that I would be a weed.
After days and days of putting up with me taking pictures of just about everything, THGGM looks a touch less thrilled than when we started out.
He does make a charming sun dial.
Daisy with dew drops, who could resist. Not me. Although, something tells me that THGGM could.

I think that the appreciating Natures Beauty comes with age, but that's just me.
Don't know about you, but I'm missing the kids about now. ;0)
