I love this town. It is full of charming shops and is a very pleasant place to spend a July afternoon.
My only complaint is that the town is divided by a highway one must navigate without aid of conveniences such as crossing lights. Our method of crossing is for me to grab THGGM's hand and remind him that I can no longer run.
This is one of my favorite shops. They carry Emma Bridgewater. They had some spotted mugs, which I wanted very badly. But it's so easy not to purchase expensive things when one doesn't have money.
And, I love those shops that put effort into making things attractive.
The flowers are prettier than anything the talented Emma Bridgewater could paint, and photographing them didn't cost me anything (thank you again, family, for the camera).

what kind of camera do you have? Your pics are great.
This could have been US! Right down to the grabbing hubby's hand and reminding him I can't run anymore!
Your kind of vacation is OUR kind, too. And I can certainly identify with not buying that mug and taking photos rather than buying the painting.
I hear "good time" all over your posts. Keep enjoying the sights and each other!
Judy, those flowers were so beautiful. I enjoyed looking at them. Love that blue and white! You are a good photographer. I love seeing Michigan thru your camera lens.
aaaaaaaomgosh..The blue and white looks like Larksbur. I love it!
