This Was Tuesday Evening

The weather was MUCH cooler Tuesday evening. MUCH.

I LOOOOOVED it. Nothing like the beach on a cool breezy evening. Mostly it was just us, and those two people walking waaaay down on the beach.

There were a few sailboats out on the west bay. One of them was the Manitou. It was very interesting to watch. Well, at least I thought so. THGGM is perusing the old magazines he bought at an antique store earlier in the day.

This gave me time to take a lot of pictures. I like this sculpture. It really captures movement, which I'm going to guess is rather hard to do.

My zoom lens came in handy.

The boat sailed across the bay a few times while we were there. I would not want to have been on it.

I'd have been hanging over the sides.

Or, thrown overboard in an attempt to calm the waters.

A mother duck and two little ducklings bobbed along in front of us several times also.

It was windy. We had just stopped to pick up magazines to bring to the beach with us, but I'd given up on mine. It was just too breezy to keep it open AND shoot pictures.

Wow. Vacation is SUCH hard work.
