Wide Open Spaces

From our perch on the deck, the moms and grandmas could keep an eye on the goings-on.

Seriously. Every child needs an Uncle Clayton. He's a wonder, that brother-in-law of mine. Lots of acreage and the ability to kick the ball high and long.

It does wear a child out, all that fresh country air, and running.

They all had a great time.

Thankfully, there was finally a break in the humidity. Still hot and sunny though.

Aren't they just the cutest?

Notice how high in the air he can kick that ball.

I kicked it once. It landed on the roof.

See that speck at the tree line? That's grand-nephew. He knows that there are twin fawns that live back there and he wants to visit them again.

After all that activity, Uncle Clayton gave everyone a relaxing swing in his hammock.

And then it was back to preparing imaginary cookies in the toy oven.

It is beautiful there. Lots of room for the kiddoes to run and play. I am sure they were all worn out. Nothing like fresh air in the country. Adorable little ones. You are blessed.
