Seriously. Eight days until Christmas. I still have plenty to do, but the plans are as set as plans can be. From reading this blog you might get the impression that we go really crazy over here for Christmas. We don't. My passion is decorating the house. THGGM and I only spent a few hours shopping for presents. That took us to Walmart and Meijer last Thursday afternoon. There were no crowds. We are also not crazy gift givers. Actually, I don't think I'm very good at choosing gifts for people. I make weird stuff that nobody wants. I used to love baking cookies, but now I fear going into a coma from all the taste-testing required. So over here THGGM and I will sit in front of a fire listening to Christmas music. This is especially nice this year as we gave each other a Bose for Christmas. We'll watch a few Christmas movies while eating our favorite cheese balls. Our week leading up to Christmas used to be insanely crazy-busy. Not any more. And I could not be happier.

I think we'd really get along! Your approach to Christmas is very much like ours...Maybe we'll get each other a Bose next year :) Great idea.
We promised not to get each other anything (but I've stuffed 6 pr. of black socks and a nail file for refinishing furniture's tiny corners into an oatmeal box for him anyway).
Simpler is better...best even. :)
I could DIG IT! ;0)
