Because these five grandchildren of mine are certainly wonderful.
The rest of my life seems to be rolling on as usual.
I am still crocheting. This time, a wool scarf. Even though I do not do well with wool or anything else around my neck. I had a 40% off coupon. So I bought wool. Wouldn't you?
The sound went out on our den TV. This is where I sit when I crochet. I watch my stitches and listen to the sound.
Now, I cannot do that. Also, if you want a good hard laugh, you simply MUST read the closed captions on a live local news broadcast. And I thought I couldn't spell.
Anyway, to watch TV tonight and also HEAR it, I had to venture into the basement. Many times a day I visit the laundry room and my studio (ie: leaning towers of items) rooms. But only on major holidays do I ever go into THGGM's portion of the basement. He was quick to remind me not to mess it up.
Apparently, I am the untidy one. Who knew?
Wait. I did know that. Let's blame it on me being a more creative type than he is. Yes. Let's.
Could you resist that smile over there? I cannot. He loves to clap his hands. Clap, clap, clap all day long. It is very entertaining.
They weren't here for long today. The mommy had a dentist appointment.
At just what age do chubby thighs stop being cute?
Feintsje REALLY surprised his sister yesterday when she leaned into his crib to see if he was awake and he smiled and said "HI!"
He also likes to wave. And twice now I've seen him make the sign for milk.
Today I gave Famke some fresh strawberries. Obviously not locally grown. Soon after a horrible hive-y rash appeared on both of her hands. Seems like she cannot have strawberries now either. She hasn't been able to have apples for quite some time. Poor girl.
See that picture below? Notice how that boy looks at me? Nobody else looks at me like that. Yes. I am SMITTEN!

Your days are so typical of mine. We lead parallel lives, just on opposite sides of the mitten! :-)
How could you not be smitten! And I think they're probably cute (thighs that is) until at least age 5, anyway). And no, I can't resist that smile, and why would one?
I'm smitten and wasn't even THERE!
He certainly grabs me with that smile. He is such a sweetie! You are blessed with those beautiful grands!
The sound went out on our LR tv a couple of years ago. We had it fixed, it was $75.00, not bad but if anything goes out on it again, I will just buy a small flat panel. I do love those so much lighter TVs. Hope you have a good day. We are supposed to hit 70° today but we have strong winds along with it. I will enjoy it anyway.
Time flies - I can't believe eight months already.
Famke may outgrow it - Kira did.
I can't have apples, peaches, plums, apricots, cherries, or any 'pitted' type fruits raw - but I can have them cooked.
He's a cutie for sure. And I can't believe 8 months already.
My chubby thighs stopped being cute many decades ago, but those babies ....adorable!
Mommy sure has her hands full, and I'm sure a heart full of joy to go with it!
OK, I failed the first word verification...lets try again.
Lovin the pics. (((hugs)))Pat
