Today Kado, Feintsje, and I made Valentines!

They had more fun with this than I thought they would.  They are growing up!

In the afternoon they wanted to make more so we did.  Feintsje was SOO intense with the glue stick.  Kado wants things to be perfect.  They did great.  I hovered, but let them both do it on their own.  Heart punches and a heart stamp with only red ink made this easier.

Then while Hertsje napped Kado got to play with the tiny Legos.  This particular Lego looks just like Oldest Son.  Kado had a great time playing with his "Uncle", who does love his Legos.

And, not only was I surprised by a gift this morning (see below), tonight THGGM came home with steak dinners for us.  I could have cried.  But then I would not have been able to eat.  So I ate, and was thankful.  And all I managed for this dear man, THGGM, was a Valentine card I worked on whenever I had a minute.
It was a good day.
