1. Tonight THGGM and I took a very spontaneous drive to Holland. We just happened upon the Tulip Time fireworks. From beginning to end they were fabulous.
2. Although there were bats. I do not care much for bats flying over my head.
3. This weekend I have done more shopping than I normally would do in an entire year. I am happily down two pant sizes. Not sure if this has much to do with my 20 lb. weight loss, or just that I bought better brands of jeans.
4. My new meds also came this weekend. I started them both today. So far, after one entire day, they are not bothering me (although just about everything else is).
5. The flu is still rearing it's ugly head around here. So far, I still have not gotten it. Unless that wasn't a migraine I had last weekend. Hmm. Much to ponder.
6. I do not feel much like cleaning my house when the weekends are this lovely. But I am almost caught up on laundry. Almost.
7. It is time for me to get rid of at least a hundred more books. There are about that many in piles next to my side of the bed. They don't show, but THGGM keeps mentioning it. I have to continue purging. Is that from the same root word as purgatory? Because I seem to be stuck there. Could someone please pray me out?
8. In other news, I need to start cooking again. They know us too well at the Wendy's drive-up.
9. This afternoon we got caught in a terrible traffic jam. It isn't so bad when one isn't in a hurry, and we weren't. We didn't even need to go where we were going. So we got off the highway and took a tour around the west side of the city. Wow. I've lived here my whole life and never saw some of the very interesting things I saw today.
10. See? I DO occasionally go places and do things. I DO. And although it must seem rather boring to a normal person, it was all very exciting to me.

Your day sounded fun. Other than work and church, I a pretty much a homebody. Granddaughter and I had lunch at Cracker Barrel yesterday. I even bought a new top for work and a new purse.
