What do we have?
We have a pile of dirt.
Just add some kids and a handful of plastic dinosaurs and let your imagination soar.
The plan was to shovel away the dirt pile, but I've grown rather fond of it.
Now I bet YOU want a pile of dirt in your backyard too!

We had a little dirt pile like that in our yard when we were little. We had lots of fun making roads for our cars and my brother had those little metal tractors and a disk. That soft dirt was wonderful for playing. That must have been why mom scrubbed our neck and ears so hard...all that dusty dirt. This brought back great memories. Memories in the making for your grands!
I actually have plastic palm trees just like YOURS! (And dinosaurs, too - but it never occurred to me to team them all up with a pile of dirt.) Well, the next time the g'kids come to visit, I have a new activity to introduce them to!
