Rainy Friday

Today was cold and rainy.  Although I didn't realize it was cold until I watched the weather report at noon.  The weatherman told me it was in the low 40's.  I hadn't noticed.  My windows were still open. So as I went to close them I passed the thermostat.  It read 68 degrees.  I closed the windows anyway.
Most of the day I puttered around between laundry, closet cleaning, and kitchen tweaking.  Oh, and I made stuff too.  I'd post a picture (surprise!) but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.  Might be a present.
When THGGM got home from work we went to Olive Garden for dinner.  I am crazy about their lasagna.  After dinner we went to the mall.  Well, I only went to Barnes and Noble.  I looked at a lot of books and magazines, but I already have books and magazines at home.  So I went to Michael's Craft Store next and perused the clearance stuff, and there was A LOT of clearance stuff.  But I left some for the other kids.  I had in my hand a 40% off coupon but I couldn't find anything that I needed.
And that is how I spent my Friday.
Always boring, never bored.  That's me.

That's me too. Boring, rainy Friday and today rainy too, at least I get to go to a Farmers/village market/do, I have seen there are fleeces, sheep and somethings good to eat/buy, about 15 stands, so not large, but in the neighbourhood, wel 15 km. I ordered some kefir roses today, the stuff you can make kefirmilk with. I lost mine years ago due to not enough knowledge, now I know I can freeze whasome if I want to stop making it for sometime. i too will start ASmish friendship dough again. although I am aiming at using all except one part for the next batch for myself. One could loose friends in the sixties just by arriving at their door with a portion of the weet dough! The that's me was about stuff for making things, books and magazines and houshold stuff, I have more then enough amd I sometimes see the most beautiful things and then realise I have alreadys five Römertops/clayovenpots. If you never had one and you have an oven, buy one, as new as you can get, or unused and soak in a bucket of water! It took me more then 30 years to find a bucket can hold the whole thing, the sink only nearly does. Read the recipes, it is obe of those thiongs that come and go every 30 years as an hot item. Love, DM.
