January 1st Jonge Turned EIGHT Years Old

 Our New Year's Eve was lively, as we had the four oldest grandchildren spend the night!

There was moving watching and popcorn eating and the eating of A LOT of left-overs.

The highlight was a "candle light" Christmas program that they orchestrated for Pake and me.

Then in the morning we woke up not only to a brand new year, but it was Jonge's 8th birthday!

To celebrate in the morning they orchestrated ANOTHER "candle light" service.  Which it goes without saying, was greatly enjoyed by Pake and me just as much the second time around.

Pake had gotten up early and made blueberry french toast for us.

In the afternoon there was pizza, cake, and PRESENTS.

 Kind of looks like the dad enjoyed the presents just as much as the oldest son.  But that's okay, it was just his birthday too!

 It was such a fun way to end the old year and begin the new!
