Reading: The Righteous Mind, by Jonathan Haidt. Oldest Son recommended it. Very interesting reading.
Broeder, sitting up, playing with his toys! |
Watching: Tonight I watched a pre-recorded episode of Rehab Addict on HGTV. I love that show.
Playing: This morning Kado, Feintsje, and I played with the Duplo Lego. The boys still like to pull out a few blocks and a couple of figures. I still want more, More, MORE. I could learn much from them.
Eating: Ever since Christmas I just do not care to eat. Nothing sounds good. Tonight I had a bit of pasta.
Drinking: Hot Chocolate with two candy cane Hersey Kisses stirred into it. Yum.
Wondering: Tonight I am wondering if the new boots I ordered will arrive before the next major snow event. I haven't had winter boots in six years. This is not wise in Michigan. Especially not this year. Although it is my intention to hibernate, occasionally one MUST go out. Although I do try to avoid that at all cost.
Praying: Without ceasing.
Making: Today we drew snowmen. They are hanging on the fridge now. I also bought a knitting loom and am thinking about trying to make some hats.
Perusing: Pinterest for knitting loom ideas, tips, and instructions. I've been having so much fun using the knitting doll that I thought it's about time I graduate to the loom.
Planning: I've been researching refurbishing my piano. It needs work. Probably quite a lot of work. But I love it. One key doesn't work, and another doesn't stop. There are many times that I leave the piano, go into another room, and when I return this one particular key is STILL playing. But that isn't nearly as annoying as the key that doesn't play at all.
Feeling: Comfortable. Under a warm throw with a fluffy puppy. Life is good.

You ARE blessed. And if those boots never come, you have enough to keep you busy in your hibernation :)
(The ABC video is adorable.)
