Famke's Sleep-over

Famke came right after school on Friday.

She brought along Sophia, her American Girl doll that she got from her aunts (her daddy's sisters) for Christmas.

Notice the dolls outfit?  We found it at Michael's.  Their 18" doll clothes are nicely priced and their coupons work towards the purchase.

Today we went to our neighborhood thrift store were Famke found the pink mailbox for a quarter.  It was covered in stickers, so we tried every remedy known to man (and pinterest!) to remove them.

Then she added her OWN stickers that we found in my basement which contains just about anything one could ever hope for in craft supplies.

A bit of hot glue and a thrifted candle stick and we had a mailbox!

Of course, then we had to make mail for the mailbox.

Famke wrote me the sweetest note.

It says:

"Dear Beppe.
I love you.
I hope you had fun going
places with
me.
Love,
Famke"

Yes.  Yes I did have fun going places with her!

 My cards are the boring brown and white ones.  Famke's are the colorful ones.  I LOVE sleep-overs!
