Somehow I managed to get burned.  I believe I shall blame it on the sunroof, as I am not one to spend anymore time in the sun than is absolutely necessary.

THGGM, on the other hand, would spend every waking moment in the sun if he could.

So, there he is, enjoying the beach, while I keep an eye on him from four stories up.

You know, we've been married thirty-six years now, yet I still don't want anyone to walk off with him.

Oh, wait.  He is THE ONLY ONE on the entire beach.

Seriously.  Where are all the people?!  Not that I mind, but really this is the best week to stay here.  THGGM found our room for $65 a night.  This same room will be $249 in July.  And in July it would be busier and hotter.  For us, this is PERFECT.

 And just a few miles away is the lovely downtown of Traverse City.

 THGGM even took me again to see my favorite barn EVER.  This time in the sunlight.  So of course we also saw more orchards and vineyards and lovely bays.
