Holland MI in September

My dearest friend, Anne with an E.

Friends from Maine came to visit!
We meet for breakfast, and then headed to Holland, since they had never been there.
Our first stop was shopping in downtown Holland.
It's a lovely place, always a good choice if you ever are in Holland looking for something to do that isn't antiquing, thrifting, or hanging out at the beech, which is usually where you would find us!
It truly was lovely on the beach.

 Apparently it was the perfect weather for wind surfing.

Looking down the shore towards the cottage our family has stayed in for the past four years.

 We had an amazing time just taking in the beauty of Lake Michigan.

These two have seen the Lake Michigan shore from Leland, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Grand Haven.
Now Holland can be added to that list!
And for all the years to come, we can keep adding more lovely beach spots to the list!
We had a great visit, and cannot wait until next year.
