Shower the People You Love with Love

Today my family held a shower at my house for this little darling.

He is my one and only great-nephew.

I have two other nephews and I always thought that they were pretty great, but, not like THIS one, who is truly my great nephew.

I really like him!

He was born towards the end of March, and has already had his hair cut twice.

In April he was very very sick and spent some time back in the hospital. But he certainly has not let that stop him from growing into a happy big boy.

I really like him!

Here are two of my nieces. The one on the left is his mommy.

I managed to get pictures of everyone who was here today, but due to my ineptitude with a camera some will not be made public. You can thank me later.

And, I've found that if one tends to hold the camera extremely crooked, turning it into black and white seems to help. Some.

These are my nieces also. I tied linen napkins with blue ribbon that said "It's a Boy!" If you used your imagination, they looked a bit like diapers.

This is my sister with her one and only grandson and her one and only father. He looks pretty good in this picture, but isn't feeling all that perky lately.

I really like all of these people! Even the ones who managed to escape having their pictures posted here.

Wedding Shower

My oldest niece, in purple, is getting married next month!

Of course, we must celebrate with gifts, food, family and friends.
