Grandson, Seven Weeks Ago

I wonder what he looks like now? Daughter has blonde hair and one blue eye and one green eye. She is also very fair. Son-in-law has very dark brown hair, brown eyes and is darker complected. The doctor doesn't think that he will be a big baby. Not like his uncles. I pray he is healthy and all goes well!

Ummm...let me clarify...his uncles WERE big babies, 9 lbs. 7 oz. and 10 lbs. 8 1/2 oz. They are no longer big babies.

AH! I am starting to get that excited nervous feeling in my stomach about the baby--is he here yet?! =)
Let us both hope the baby Buddy and I have takes after me--every time I look at Buddy head, I get squeamish =)
Love you--have a good day.

Stop calling me Buddy head.

Well then, what would it be.., Cuddly? Or, the nickname you chose for yourself - Peasant Pig...or were you Lowly Worm?

Buddy is a weak old baby.
And he preferst to be called Lunchbox or Studly Muffin Lips. They are a little less cutesy than his old nicknames (so let's call him by his old ones).

Simply amazing photos they take these days!!

Are you going to help out for awhile after baby is born too? It won't be long now.

Just got home from playing Nana for 4 1/2 days. Best part: being told "you are the bestest Nana in the whole world and I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!" See what you have to look forward to...well, perhaps you will go by a different name.

It'll be interesting to see if his eyes are light or dark. For years I heard that brown eyes were dominant, but a friend told me it was the opposite. She, brown-eyed, and her hubby, blue-eyed, have seven kids: 4 blue eyed, 3 brown eyed.

He sure is cute!
