Finishing Up the Weekend Projects

This is another one of THGGM's weekend projects.
He recovered the seats of our six dining room chairs.
My brother-in-law who used to upholster chairs for a living gave him some pointers that really helped. My dad lended the staple gun.
Truly, a family project!

These were the chairs he had wanted to paint black.
This man REALLY loves to paint.
The other project he is finishing up tonight (hopefully) is painting the entry way from the garage to the back hallway.
It really needed some brightening up back there.

How 'bout you and Dear Hubby sending yourselves out here to me in Oregon by Fed Ex Air Express?! I'll even pay shipping and handling, haha! I've got TONS of projects for the two of you! ;-)

...and that's not as easy as it looks.

Thank you. I am rather pleased with how they look. Although, for the most part they live their lives under the dining room table - unseen.

I love the color. Now the front entry way, living room, den, dining room and back entry way have the same basic color scheme.

I do NOT want him to touch the kitchen, back porch/laundry room and downstairs bathroom. I like them in the 40's muted red, white and pale yellow.
