My Sunday

I spent my Sunday morning in the church nursery. It was great fun. Baby Boy enjoys it SO much. It's really the only time he sees other kids. All boys. The nursery really has great toys, but Baby Boy is so confused that there aren't any balls. Apparently, he thinks that I ought to be able to make balls appear out of thin air. He wandered all over looking through everything for a ball. Finally, he settled on a fake turnip. It was the best we could do.

In the afternoon, THGGM and I went antique shopping. I'm looking for old mismatched china dinner plates. White ones with pink roses. I didn't find even one. I did find a few fun things. I'll be sure to show you later.
When we got home, I set to work embroidering on my apron. I had ordered some 'stitchettes' from Wee Wonderfuls, www.weewonderfuls.typepad.com, and have been looking for time to get to it. Today was that day. Since I haven't done anything like this in quite some time (if ever - i just cannot remember) I stuck with simply backstitching all in one color. I have some pieces of linen I want to make little dolls out of. We will see.
Tonight I finished watching Jane Eyre on Master Piece Theatre. I LOVED it. Must read the book again. First, I need to get the Lindbergh's to the Orient. I'm loving that book, too.

OOo I didn't know Jany Eyre was on Master PIece Theater. I would have LOVED that. I read Jane Eyre every five years or so. It is one of the only books I reread.

(Oh and when you said hello to me in your kitchen the other day? My mouth was just too small for you to hear my reply. :-D )
