Here you will find scattered pictures from my point and shoot camera, random thoughts from my little world, treasured memories of days gone by, hopeful dreams of the days yet to come, and a bunch of ideas - because I've always got ideas!

I Didn't Vote for This
Goodnight green grass.
Goodnight wicker chair.
Goodnight clothes hung in the fresh spring air.
Goodnight soccer games with Baby Boy.
Goodnight dreams of spring time pleasure.
And Goodnight to the old lady whispering 'whatever'.
It is to go below freezing tomorrow night...never mind that it hardly happened all winter...go figure! Oh well, at least we did not put out the flowers we bought yet...guess we will wait a bit more!
Classic. I love the poetry! I understand just how you feel. It feels like spring has just decided not to come this year. Where's the sun? We desperately need the sun.
I live within 30 miles of Heather, and I'm about to swear in my sleep. Its like freakin' winter around here, windchill and all. I prefer the term "climate change" rather than "global warming".
It is on the way to my area, and I am not happy, because I have three dozen plastic eggs filled, and was looking forward to hiding them on my three acres, for the boys to find. Not going to happen outside. I guess an inside Easter egg hunt will be happening.
Oh, I know! Arggghhh! We had a blizzard this morning and you should have seen me wheel out the trash in my long coat over my robe and my long hair flying.... and muttering under my breath. heh. And I agree with daisymarie--I voted against this! :) Oh well... what are you gonna do other than smile and hope that Spring will someday stay? :) Blessings, Debra

Oh Judy, I feel your pain. Plus I loved the "goodnight to the old lady whispering whatever" I think I shall add that to my reading tonight :)
Sigh. I can commiserate. It has been so cold around here, I've taken up swearing. @#$#@! I NEED Spring, before my vocabulary deteriorates too far!

I hear you and I feel your pain - I have the same thing in my yard.
It makes me unusually and exceedingly grumpy.

Oh, and happy birthday to your boy!

I not only didn't vote FOR this, I clearly voted AGAINST it...so much for my vote counting...lol

LOL! Great poetry! You could come visit me. We're have a beautiful Spring day in the Pacific Northwest. I think I'm going to mow the lawn today.
I'm just going to stop my complaining (hahahahaha). My friend Anne, who lives in Maine, has SIXTEEN inches of snow in her yard.
