Isn't is amazing how fast they mature? My book says 14 days in the nest before they enter the most dangerous days of their lives - leaving the nest and learning to fly.
I read that, too. So, when I am not around Daughter comes in with HER camera and helps me fill in the blanks!I also read that according to bird-banders, only 25% survive their first year.So, I am enjoying every blessed minute with this cute little guys.
