I'm imagining that these planters, especially the pink swans, will look right at home in my new all pink bathroom (grandma mary, i need help!).
We will remove the 'teal with pink roses' wallpaper, and most likely paint it an 'off' shade of white.
Did I mention the bathroom in the basement? I'm sure it was added in the 70's, as it is the ONE room that looked in serious need of.., something. It has a toilet, sink and shower. AND wallboard that is, as I recall, orange and yellow BOLD flowers. I cannot bring myself to think of the 70's as 'vintage'. It was just wrong. I think we might just close the door on this bathroom and figure that two are enough.
Well. I've just washed all of these, and now need to wrap them, pack them and label the box!

Oh, Judy, I don't envy you the move but it sure is exciting to get a new place and get to decorate all over again! Congrats.
I wanted to tell you, my little 9 yr. old grandaughter was here this weekend. I was reading your blog and she saw the picture of Baby Boy eating that blue ice cream and she just cracked up. She thought he was the cutest thing!!
I agree with you on the 70's. I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. I was a young mother then and had no clue how to decorate. And no wonder considering what we were offered to work with! I look back at pictures of my apt. at the time and I think..Yuck!! I had a huge starburst clock too! They were the rage!! lol
Good luck with the packing!
Hope
Our first apartment had wallpaper in the kitchen that was orange, brown and gold coffee pots. It was hideous.
Of course, we added contact paper that looked like bricks as a 'back splash'.
It did have GREAT linolium. On the floor, AND the counter.
Oh! And how could I forget the teeny tiny apartment size "Roper" oven.
