Can You Say "Peanut"?

Peanuts and Candy Corn are a fall treat at our house.

Friday night we were actively encouraging Jonge to partake of the peanuts.

What's this?, we would ask while holding one in front of him.

Munchkies. He would say.

No. Say "Peanut". Pea. Nut. Like that.

Pea. Nut. He would reply with a happy smile.

So, another peanut would be held up to him.

What is this?, we would ask again.

Muuuunchkiiiies. He would say.

This went on for quite some time, as things do in our home.

We now partake of Candy Corn and Munchkies.

K never pets animals she softs them. She won't use the word pet. And if she asks you to soft the animal, you must stroke it - not pat it.

By the way did you ever open the album box? I don't recall if I saw its contents and I want to make sure you found them. (I won't go back to that post - digging through internet files on a dial-up is a pain and takes loads of time).
